A new animated film called HITPIG! has appeared in cinemas. Based on the children’s book Pete and Pickles by Berkeley Breathed, this film tells the story of Heatpig (Jason Sudeikis), a pig bounty hunter who returns escaped animals to their owners. I will say right away that the name does not make sense: a pig does not kill anyone like a killer. Probably, it should be called something like “PETE – THE BOUNTY HUNTER” or simply “PETE AND SALNY SPURS”. His name is literally Heatpig. Moving on, he meets Pickles (Lilly Singh), an elephant who escaped from the haughty and treacherous Lipin. The Lord of the Tights (Rain Wilson). There is a connection between them that makes Hitpig think about his career and life. This film is good. I understand that this was not done specifically for me. The humor here is different everywhere, sometimes it is less childish, sometimes a little more elevated. Lots of jokes about ass. The story develops at the speed of a mile per minute, sometimes literally taking your breath away. All characters speak quickly, although I liked listening to Hannah Gadsby as a cheeky koala. The film looks low-budget, and I’m actually surprised that it was released in theaters at all. There are a couple of pretty good walls about the family you’ve chosen. HITTING! I think it’s a good movie, but it’s quickly forgotten and not worth spending money on unless you have a young child with ADHD who loves loud sounds and bright colors.
